In your garden, looking back at your home, how does your roof look?

Please tell me you don't have white
pvc pipes sticking up from your roof.
.
My real ROOF FETISH is about finials. But, that's another post.

Thank you Krystol for this pic.

Is that your roof Tara?
My roof is varied. Custom-designed concrete chimneys (very interesting). Some black shingle, some reflective metal, and a flat roof over the entry where my husband wants to plant a green roof! A little something for everyone?
Oh boy. I don't like to look at mine. It is barrel tile...that tends to darken, and tends to have more broken tiles every time we look at it. They have a 50 year warranty...the house is 35 or so...but recently found they used the wrong underlayment....
Like I said. Don't like to look at it. Maybe all the probs will go away. Maybe not. Oy.
I like the look of the roof of our soon-to-be new home! It's an old metal roof that has a wonderful patina to it. And the leaves all pile up in one particular area. It all makes me smile. Not to o certain how to add finials to it, though.
I love that roof! It is flat terra-cotta tile. Very French!
What the heck is that white thing on the top of the chimney? PVC would be dangerous and melt or burn!
