Desk & Petunia, below, at my bay window. Paint 20 years old. Note, horror, mini-blinds. After, below, this morning. Painting complete. Note, delight, curtains. A soft 100% cotton burlap.
Bookcase from top pic now in Garden Room, aka kitchen, below. And it's sitting on a different base.

Yes, I liked the 'before' in my home. After 20+ years it was time. CHANGE!
Garden & Be Well, XO Tara
Paint Color was a taupe. Now it's Benjamin Moore HC-105 Rockport Gray with HC-174 Lancaster Whitewash trim. Did you notice my Christmas cactus decided to become an Easter cactus? Aren't the daffodils happy? Tulipiers are fabulous; 18 seconds to toss daffodils in. Tulipier, thrift store, $1.99.
NOTE: This is THE bay window overlooking the new Bay Terrace in my garden.

I too liked your room "before", minus the mini blinds. lol
But what a wonderful transformation! Well done. Beautiful! AK

The before was nice (although we have those blinds in our house now and they're a pain!) but the after is so much cozier. The bookcase is gorgeous though, especially with all that white china.

I LOVE your new color scheme and I want a garden room to display my daffs in too!

So very beautiful, Tara. . . the lighting on the dishes is fabulous! I will have to keep my eyes open for a similar vase. I can't wait to see more and more of your redo.

And horrors here, too! Haven't yet replaced mini blinds in our bedroom! Yikes!

Light snow & sleet coming down in rural east TX. Hoping you're staying warm & cozy in your fabulous redo!

I love how warm and cozy your NEW room looks. It's amazing how the same space can change with paint. What an inspiration ~ my paint is still in the cans ~ time to spruce things up!

Yes, change is good. I can't wait a year, much less 20+!

Beautiful! Can you please email my husband and tell him that change is good after 20 years (not in spouse, in decor!). He gets very attached to the old furniture which he calls 'perfectly good'.

Love the peaceful, gentle feel of the new decor.

Oh you are teasing me!!! Fabulous redo! But when do we see the view OUT of bay window????

Love all the white ironware (I assume) together in the china cabinet.
