Abiding in the Rustic Barn until the coyote roundup is complete, Jefferson, below, was totally enthralled with our entry for the daffodil bulbs.
Thousands of bulbs, below.
Once sited thousands seemed like two, maybe three.
A century old the home had no daffodils. I'm siting them to look as if they have been there longer than a century. Great billowy drifts.

These daffodil bulbs, above, will drift thru the fence as if the fence came later.

Humbling to watch my team plant the bulbs. On their knees, each bulb hand planted with a small miner's pick.
They start planting at the middle of the drifts, facing each other, on their knees, then moving outward. All the while bantering amongst themselves. Teamwork.

What a cool idea, to make the the daffodils look like they predated the fence. Only you!
Coyote roundup? What is your take on the coyotes roaming inside the perimeter of our large metropolitan area? I heard a pack (?) howling once in the wooded area adjoining my property, and it made my hair stand on end. Not a sound one usually expects in the city.

A client yesterday, inside the perimeter, said it's common for a coyote to trot across her front lawn as she is getting the mail at her curb.
Not long before a homeowner is attacked by a pack.
All her pets are indoor pets.
Now.
Our stewardship of deer & coyote in our living spaces are similar.

Thanks for your response. Guess I need to read up on GA law. I read recently about a fed agency (probably Interior Dept.) beginning to cull out the deer in Rock Creek Park, in the heart of DC. Deer, of course, don't usually attack people, but they had become so numerous they were damaging the greenscape in an effort to feed themselves. Woodlands or not, in our city I think there should be a point beyond which deer and coyote are tolerated, particularly when coyote make humans and pets fear for their lives. Although I don't have a pet to walk myself, residents in my complex have already been warned about walking their pets in early morning and late at night. That makes me very uncomfortable, even for my own well-being.
