Front Porch: Long & Narrow

Placing table + chairs at the 'L' of a porch must be in the helix of our DNA.

The web has enough pictures to fill a seductive hardcover coffee table book.

At the opposite end of the porch, above, more seduction, below.

Places to read, serve a meal, have conversation a basic trinity for your porch.

Pics shot last month on Susanne Hudson's porch.  A field gathered collection of furniture with a tight trinity of color: green, brown, white.  Comfort oozes in her still life's.

Love the trinity.

I have a tiny porch with one bench. But, even if we did have a porch, we wouldn't sit on it. When it comes time for sitting a relaxing, we sit around the fire pit in the back yard or we head out to the beach to sit and visit with all the neighbors while we watch the sunset. I guess that is our "porch" time.

Nice trinity - just thinking about that until 8 am today, when it got too warm. New place's patio is in shade until 2-3 pm:-)
