Color vs Light

Pulled to color or light?  Both?  Yes, both.  I would love to see this room, below, when it's raining, at nite, in fall, winter, a storm.....

If you're fortunate a garden colors your light.

In your home, does garden light stop you in your tracks on occasion?

If your garden isn't doing this for your interiors it's time to rethink your garden.

Yes, my garden and gardens color their inside views. Mine - on the 4.3 times a year it's dark and stormy - makes this office uber-cool, but I'll have to check the rest of the house next storm and for the 20 minutes before it clears...

And the new look, type and especially at the top, one of my favorite garden scenes you've shown.

Yes. "252. POOLS OF LIGHT" "Uniform illumination - the sweetheart of the lighting engineers - serves no useful purpose whatsoever. In fact, it destroys the social nature of space,"

(And I like my landscape to look great in the winter.)

Yesterday, while watching "Swiss Family Robinson" with my 7 yr. Old grandaughter, she commented, "Mima, look how pretty the shadows are on the back of her dress!" referring to the scene near the end where the eldest son and the rescued girl admit their love to each other. Even children can see beauty in the shadows of gardens and nature! I enjoy your blog, btw!
