It's not just the repetition of form. It's that the form is also lovely. Here the vase shape on the gate also recalls the cross section of many flower pods. It's a lovely feminine shape.

It's the little details that make me happy - love the repitition. I also love the sculptural form of that piece at the end of the stairs (what is the name for it..).
