I'm always inspired by your choice of words, but even more by how you appreciate gravel (when it's used well)...here, it's just mindlessly used to cover everything.
Used well = it fills in between the masses / plants, like carpet between furniture.
Believe me, I'm expanding on this topic for posts, etc, etc!
