Meet Betty, below, this is her home.
Nearby is a shaded bare patch of earth she loves to lay on in summer.I left her space alone in the new Landscape Design.
I paid attention to her pathways, tweeked them a bit, and was rewarded. Betty uses her 'improved' paths.
Betty's friend, at right above, was moving a bit too fast for his portrait. He lives 2 houses down.

I assume all plants are toxic to dogs, and know a swallowed rock or twig can mean death.

Dogs? I pay attention to their habits for sleeping, playing, protection. And let their habits lead the Landscape Design.

Good Morning Tara! I love that you landscape with dogs in mind...and how nice of Betty to co-operate with your efforts! I hope your day is a good one. Maura :)
Dogs are like children. If you have them- you must plan with them in mind.
What a good idea to landscape with dogs in mind. Mine love to "secure the perimeter" ie run around the inside of the fence and chase squirrels. I have to remember this and leave them a little room.
