Sweet Serendipity: Tuteurs + Lights

A picture note for the garden.

Shopping list: lights.  Prefer to make my own tuteurs.
.
Twigs/wood can be found easily.
.
Why have I not done this sooner?  Must get it done during this season of early nightfalls.

  1. Tara ...

    Love this pic.
Another cute addition to your tuteur... use solar powered 'fairy' lights. Don't wind them around the structure (like a Christmas tree) but use them to highlight the 'skeleton' of the tuteur. I've also seen them used on a circular hoop thereby making a light scultpture to hang on an outdoor wall or fence. And solar powered lights are VERY cheap now. Approx $20 for a 20m length. And the solar collector unit is about 10cm x 10cm. Very discrete and now electrical cabling needed.

  2. Remind us about these next December also. They are really pretty.

  3. I found solar powered lights at a store called "Deals". They were $5 a string and they worked perfectly until the city replaced the street light out front that our neighbor's daughter knocked over a year ago.

Now, it's too bright to trigger the solar lights. :(

I am trying to figure out how to break the street light again! It was so peaceful without it!

I am looking forward to a tuteur tutorial!
