Choosing A Front Door Color

Look inside your home for a front door color.  Wallpaper, artwork, textiles, dishes, clothes in your closet.

Typically it's artwork showing which direction.  A tiny bit of color, teeny tiny, flowing amongst most artwork on the wall.  Choose a variation of it, taking into consideration exterior brick/siding color & trim color.
.
Front door does not need to be the color of your shutters.
.
Your front door is a focal point, painting it the right color begins the story of YOU.

The planet doesn't need another 'safe' black front door.  The world is ready for your voice.

  2. Tara, your timing couldn't be better..We are currently in the process of picking out a front door color. Currently it's black which looks like a big gaping hole in the front of the house, anything but inviting.

  3. Our front door is Benjamin Moore "Victorian Purple,: as is the side door, back door and inside garage door. All mirroring the Victorian Purple fence in the backyard and the Victorian Purple wheelbarrow. All of which reminds us of the color inside the house; the Poppy Living Room, the Black Cherry Soda Dining room, the Garam Masala Sitting Room, the yellow kitchen and green winding vines bedroom.

  4. Not too many black doors in Southern California. However, the worst use of black has to go to the beach house painted mostly in black, faded slightly by the sun. Ghastly.
