Perhaps your garden needs a summer house. Cool respite to enjoy your garden from another vista. A place to eat, read, nap, gather.
.
Think about it. And in your imagination put in a ceiling fan; keeping mosquitos away.

Before I finished reading this, I thought 'mosquitoes!" I've been using yard fogger and, other than the smell, it's better than a fan.
ReplyDeleteMore! What is your yard fogger?

Hey, this is the essence of my new pavilion! A sort of summer house. And it's going to have a ceiling fan as soon as the carpenter installs electricity and hangs it!

Yes, I think I do need one of these! I can hear the bees buzzing just looking at this picture.
ReplyDeleteA Winter House serves my purposes better. A warm spot out of the wind and rain for the dog and cat and myself.
ReplyDeleteOne of the last things I have done was to build my folly. In my mind it was going to be a Judy Chicago inspired greek temple. Got way too expensive. Instead it is my prairie temple: simplest form with sliding barn door to store garden tools away. Lucky to find two "hermetes" of women that I have dubbed Demeter and Persephone. Still have bugs, however.
ReplyDeleteOh my, a Prairie Temple.......
