Notice something extraordinarily different about the plants styling the dining room, below?
They look as if they came from the conservatory on site.
.
Quite rare to see this attention to detail, though saucers should be included with the coleus & orchid for a complete narrative. (I have clients on tours, in magazines, TV, so, yes, I'm paid to be this particular!)
.
And that doesn't begin to mention the delicious focal point on axis with the vanishing threshold.
.
Nice, indeed. Well done.

What wallpaper too. Bravo
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I had been preparing a post on wallpaper in the dining room, but might hold off given CDT's recent post - it was wonderful.
ReplyDeleteOne of the first things I noticed was the view from the door. Gorgeous.
One plant question, I have noticed that the creeping fig in the neighborhood did not like the arctic cold snap that we experienced after New Years. Have you noticed that? Much of my creeping fig is brown and has peeled from the walls. Such a shame.
Always the focal point...always!
ReplyDeleteAnd always a swift, effective writing style I must emulate more, over my usual verbosity / photo overload. ("who has the time?", Tara)
My creeping fig is brown too and I live in 7b! I will for sure get some more green for inside!
ReplyDeleteVery inspiring as always!
