Pots, original, as landscape edging? Hardly. A centuries old idea. At my garden, with Susanne Hudson, for the
Penny McHenry Hydrangea Festival, below. (PMHF is this weekend, June 4-5.)
"It's what we do with what we have.", my mentor Mary Kistner said. I first saw pots as edging decades ago in
Ryan Gainey's Decatur, GA garden.
Susanne & I have broken pots & fallen limbs.

Perfect landscape edging. Easy & free.

Nice....reminds me I need to go water the pots...Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteI too have been compiling images of edges - especially of the good, and less of the bad & ugly. Pots on a level area really works nicely!
ReplyDeleteI love it when you promote pottery in the garden.
ReplyDeleteLove it, Tara! You were born to do this.

We are diligently working on our yard with YOUR plans!!!! I, too, love a man working a garden!!!
ReplyDeleteI spy a large galvinized watering tub in the last photo. I'm working on concepts for my courtyard and have been toying with the idea of using them as tree planters...I love them in the garden.
