Looks like that tree is part dog! A very nice doggie too, to hold onto that birdfeeder for so long. The bark looks a lot like lips actually (please say this isn't just me...)
The only choice oak trees make here is: brrr, no thanks.
I want to see a squirrel sculpture suspended from the other side. Perhaps looking desirous of the seed in the bird feeder. Not symmetry. Balance. Birds-1, Squirrels-0.
Amazing! I have some grape vines that started doing this to the wire that was holding them when they were planted. Luckly I caught it and set them free! :D
