Beatrix Potter's Beehive

Sharon Lovejoy visited Beatrix Potter's home recently, below.Poppets, look at that darling BEEHIVE !!!!!!!!!!!
.
Exactly what I need for my tiny property. Exactly. This feels good, already, in anticipation. If I can't find it to buy I'll use the pic & my carpenter will make it.

  1. That is so much nicer than the typical box shape. Beautiful example of function and creative form.

  5. Love it! Just watched her life story (played by Renee Zellweger) She was quite a woman and left a wonderful legacy to her fellow countrymen by donating all her properties (farm/gardens/forests) to the National Trust.

  8. OH Tara what a wonderful bee hive! We have bees living in the wall of our old corncrib and we'd like to restore the building one day so need to take them out. This winter we are planning on moving them to a hive if we can find one but this one is SO CUTE! I think I need to go on line and see if I can find a plan to build something like this. Thanks for the inspiration! Oh...and I LOVE Beatrix Potters house...anything from her is wonderful in my books. Hope you had a wonderful day so far.
