Double Axis: 2 views fabulous. A fabulous view in 1 direction must be fabulous in the opposite direction.

Pics taken last week in my garden. See the template? A Trinity of the Ages: Path, Gate, Boxwood. Ramped up: painted gate, gravel path, blooming hydrangeas.
Lovely hydrangea - double axis - perfect way to arrange views....
ReplyDeleteThanks for yet another great design vignette - this one on axis inspires me to convey more tips for our *much* drier version of Atlanta's temperatures!
ReplyDeleteNo exits, only entries.
ReplyDeleteLove that.
Isn't this the most beautiful Spring?
Eye candy.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely fabulous views into your garden!! Love that paint colour on the gate. Please share.

hi tara,
ReplyDeletewell i finally get vanishing threshold. i am so into learning about this double axis business. i like the phrase, there are no exits, only entrances. that makes a difference to me. i sometimes guide people through my garden certain ways (to see the best view, etc,) and what you are saying is that all ways should be the best views. ahh, see i'm getting it. slowly. thanks for always pushing me to learn more.
