In comparison to the first pic, not tall, but this plinth is taller than the average plinth in America.
.
No budget for a plinth? Stack stones or bricks and make your own.

My eyes are forever scouring junk piles for treasures. I rescued a plinth once, regrettably not tall but it is late Victorian and quite heavy, made of iron.

So good to see this updated Blog!!!
ReplyDeleteHave you read about the 4th plinth in London. They're doing a project that is allowing people one hour on the plinth. They can do almost anything they want. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteWe have a tall indoor plinth, just a stained wooden box. It's been everywhere in our house. Our designer friend has trained us that elevating anything gives it a different look. Right now I've got some pots of impatiens sitting on upside down plastic pots just to give them a little boost. Not a pretty plinth but you notice that boosted flowers not the plinth.
ReplyDeleteTerry, your designer is like designer Susanne Hudson, mentioned many times in this blog, Dinky is Stinky.

Pigtown+Design, it was the New York Times the other day. I marveled at the concept. Who created it? Ha, interesting person.
