Yesterday our garden club had a tour of the home & office of Craig Bermann Landscape Design in Lake Forest Il. This had been a dilapidated leftover estate of the Armour (beef) family. As we wandered the gardens I kept looking at the axis views and our guide pointed out the views they wanted from the inside of the house. Your words were ringing in my head at every corner.<br />sugarcreekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03986332733616767905noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-935757824325245429.post-52266467168019518392013-07-15T17:38:58.550-04:002013-07-15T17:38:58.550-04:00There are hardly enough lamps to walk through that...There are hardly enough lamps to walk through that room after dark! This reader always notices the lack of lighting/lamps in pictures I see of beautifully decorated rooms. And for the picture you posted, there is plenty of outdoor light coming in, but how does one read in one of those comfy chairs after dark? Wouldn't do for my home.
