A Few Good Things

Window box, below, fake stone, below,

terra cotta feet, below,
were a few good things I saw last month at Lowe's.
.
Remember when fake stone was ridiculously stupidly ugly?
.
The window box is lovely but underscaled for the average window. Buy 2, get it right.
.
Loved the price on those terra cotta feet, 3/set for $3.99.
.

Wow - great finds! Question for you: if you bought the window box, would you paint it the same color as your other metal yard things? Or leave it the dark bronze? Inquiring mind wants to know :)

I have never tried a window box. This one is tempting.

i have that window box and i love it! it's under a small bathroom window over my tiny herb garden...

have you seen the great looking chocolate colored terra cotta at that same store?

Vera, I adore questions as the perfect OPPOSITE to what I've written/spoken of with soooooo much authority!

The copper color you mention in the window box is, indeed, an exception. Leave it copper color.

If that window box came to my garden the black would be painted robin's egg blue to match all my other metal. The copper would remain copper.

Copper gutters? Leave them copper. Want copper gutters? Sherwin Williams color Best Bronze semi-latex.
